my soul is a dark abyss
purple and dark
it cannot be crossed
like a very deep hole
so deep it reaches into the dark emptiness of space

what's that i see? A demon
in my soul
it grasps firmly at my happiness
trying to take it away
away from me
i fight but the battle
is meaningless

and then i realize
there is no demon
there is only me
and my sad, unhappy misery
and my deep, dark soul
