I begun sleeping on a floating cloud
To clear my head of all thoughts
But soon after I lay down my head,
I began to think about the fraught past
I had left behind,
My dreams, my wishes I had thrown away
For they had no need to stay
My destiny was to be controlled by others
Who tell me to do as they say
Though I was being pulled in many directions
I managed to just find one
One who spoke wise words of wisdom,
Who solved the problems I had undone
He told me that you should follow you heart
No matter what they say
And remember that right from the start
You choose the path you want to walk along your way
With that said I picked up my dreams,
to be held once more again
I will never forget what had said
To follow your heart within
I calmed my thoughts and lay back down
On my floating cloud

Description:
I'm sure it looks unfinished at the end, but believe me, its done. Bottom line- Don't listen to everyone else's s**t. Follow your dreams. I hope one day to be a writer (Mostly books, I'm not a perfect poet).
