There she was. Standing alone. I think she was nearly 87. I don't really remember. She was looking at her grand-children playing in the garden. Waiting quietly for death to come and take her away. She knew, Death would come, but she didn't know when. Her eyes were hesitating about the emotion they had to show: fear or sadness ?
Her heart started to beat slower. Then, the old lady fell. Nobody saw here, except me. I run over her and try to help her. Nothing. Death was stronger than me. She stole her from me and took her away.
But I remember a thing, when I ran over her, her eyes weren't showing fear or sadness, but serenity. The old lady was releaved. She was now free.
