I usually walk alone. You changed that. My smiles are held inside, not usually seen. Your humor and kindness changed that, too. You changed the fact that my happiness was swollowed by misery.
That beautiful smile, crystal white teeth, perfectly shaped like little Gods, every one in line with one another, a military in action. They're marching in a perfect line, along with the rest of his body, towards me.
I look back and shoot him a smile, with love darts, not poisonous. He jogs to catch up with me. I stop and wait for him in the shade. I didn't turn around, I waited for the right moment. I heard his footsteps coming closer and turned around to meet his eyes.
Grand, green, innocent eyes, nestled between a short stubby, yet perfect nose. Down a half inch or so lay rosy lips, a straight line. When I looked up into his eyes, the line curved upwards.
My lips mimicked. He said "follow me" in a deep, mesmerizingly calm tone of voice. His lips still smiling, his eyes smiling. Smiling so hard his nose wrinkled and he got crows feet under his eyes.
I was so mesmerized that I followed him to a pavilion, probably drooling. He walked a few paces in front of me, then slowed to match mine.
When we got to the pavilion, he turned to me and talked again in that seducing vioce of his.
"Hi, I'm Lucas. I heard you're new here, so I figured I would be a gentleman and show you around."
Wow, I thought. How kind. Should I accept? Something deep down in my consious said yes. But I didn't need to know that, I was already hooked.
I answered him. "Oh, thank you. By the way, I'm Grase." A simple introduction, but it meant more than an average meeting. He was more than an accquintance.
We talked about ourselves for a while, we even missed gym class, we have it together. He looked down at his feet for a few minutes, so did I. He liked me, I could tell. He was probably thinking the same thing, because the next thing I knew he looked into my eyes and said: "Grase, you're a very interesting person, and I like you. I really like you. I'm sorry if it seems way too soon."
I replied, but I think I seemed very cheesy. "Oh, Lucas. I don't think it is too soon, I like you too."
He said thank you, and we got up and went to class, it was chemistry, we had it together.
What was funny, Lucas and I have chemistry, a good one.
