Away, from a distance.
He stands there
and she watches.
Sadness drifting through her.
She watches him talk
to girl after girl
but they're not her.
Wishing she had the courage.
To go up and talk to him.
But, NO! instead
she just sits there.
Muting out all other sounds.
Only focusing on him.
Her heart is only for him.
Oh, why can't he see?
He's killing her inside?
Yet, he only likes one person
and that person is not her...
