• 1 Theosha
I used to laugh at all those pregnant teens. I'd call them stupid, laugh and joke with my friends. I never thought I'd be one.

I still remember that moment. Pacing around the bathroom, the test between my fingers, one hand over my mouth in shock. I didn't know what to do. I heard my mother knock on the door lightly.
"You okay? You've been in there for awhile."
I looked up at the door. "Uh yeah, I'm fine. I'll be out in a minute."
I pushed the test back into the blue and white box it came in, shoved it into my bag, and headed for the door.
Just before I left the room, I took one long look at myself in the mirror. My brown hair was long, past my shoulders, parted in the middle. My eyes a chocolaty brown, my nose small and my skin clear. I was skinny, my belly flat, showing by the blue tank top hugging my body. But I won't be skinny for long. There's no way I'm going to abort this baby. I don't really know what I'm going to do, but my first concern was telling Zane.

As soon as I walked through the doors and up to my locker, he was beside me, smiling, grabbing my waist and leaning in for a hug. I couldn't help but smile back. His blue eyes sparkled underneath his jet black hair, which he constantly brushed out of his face. He was tall, towering at around six feet, while I was only 5'8. As we pulled apart he smiled wider, showing off his white teeth. He just had his braces removed a few months ago and now his teeth seemed perfect.
"I, uh.. I need to tell you something." I dropped his gaze and looked down at my feet.
"Anything babe." I could hear that he was still smiling somehow, maybe it was his voice or something.
"It's kinda bad." I looked up and bit my lip as his smile faded.
"Tell me." His voice became stern and curious.
"Later. I'll come by your house after school okay?" I rushed my sentence. I didn't want to tell him in front of a crowded school hallway, and I was scared.
I opened my locker as fast as I could and began digging through it to find my books.
"Fine." He was mad, I could tell, not just because he left without acknowledging me, but the way he said it.
I shoved my textbook into my bag and turned around, slamming my locker shut.
    "What was that about?"
It was Sophie. She was short, just past five feet, had honey blond hair and had green eyes that everyone love, and she was my best friend.
I pulled my phone out of my pocket and began texting as fast as I could so when I hit 'send' I would do it without thinking.

I don't know what to do. I'm pregnant. I was going to tell him but I couldn't. I think he's mad at me. Help.

She pulled her phone out and looked down at the message I just sent her and her green eyes widened.
"Does your mom know?" She looked up at me.
"Of course not ! " I yelled, causing a few other students to look over. "Delete that message.Right now."
Without a word she did it. That's part of the reason why I love her s much. She' understands me completely, and knows what to do all the time. Maybe I should've listened to her, but I didn't.

I stood there, clenching my bag as I rode up the elevator to the third floor. When the doors opened and I walked out, I glanced around the long hallway. It was empty. That kinda made me happy. Maybe he wasn't home, and I would have to tell him later. But then his door opened, and he stepped out, searching for his key in his pocket and mumbling something. Pushing him out of the way, another guy stepped out of his house. It was Conner. He was about as tall as me, and he had dark brown hair with a few highlights in them. He wore the same black hoodie everyday, which he pulled a pack of cigarettes out of.
"You want one?" He said pointing them towards Zane while sliding one between his lips.
"No." Zane muttered, locking the door and turning.
Then he saw me. I smiled at best as I could, but I'm pretty sure he saw through it.
"I thought you weren't coming." He said walking towards me, Conner trailing after him, digging a lighter out of his jeans pocket.
"I'm pregnant." I didn't mean to say it yet. Not so bluntly, not in front of Conner.
The sparkles in Zanes eyes faded and he stopped walking. "Conner leave."
"Dude, calm down. I don't even know what she said." His friend mumbled, lighting his smoke and pushing past him.
As Conner began to pass me I reached for his sweater and pulled him to face me. "I know you heard. If you tell anyone I swear you'll regret it."
"Chill." He said, slipping into the elevator behind me when I let go of him.
Zane turned around and headed back to his door, unlocking it and opening it.

I sat on the couch, my bag sitting on my feet, my legs and hand shaking, and I was biting my lip again.
"What's the plan?" Zane asked, plopping down on the couch across from me, avoiding eye contact.
"Plan?" I looked at him, confusion crossing my face.
"Like, what are we going to do?" He looked at me, his blue eyes dull.
"I haven't quite figured that part out yet." I dropped his gaze and looked at the ground.
I heard him raise from the couch and walk over to me, seeing his legs crouch down in front of me. I felt his hand touch my chin and raise it so I'd see his face.
    "Marry me."
"What?" I thought I was dreaming. More of hoping it than thinking it.
"We'll leave Canada. We'll go down to the states, Vegas or something. We'll pack all our stuff, get in the car, and drive until we find a place we like. Then we'll live there , and once we're both eighteen, which will be just after the baby gets here, we'll get married. We'll be a family."
"But.. we need money, and school. And what about your apartment? Are you just going to move everything out? And our friends. Sophie.. I can't leave her. Or my family. My mom and dad would hate me if I just left."
"What choice do we have? I'd give you a ring, but I don't have one. Let's go. We're in our senior year anyways, we wont miss much."
It all sounded so right at the time. Like it was the best thing I ever could've done for myself.
    "Okay."

    1 Allyson

I'm in my English class, sitting next to my best friend, and this new girl walks in. She doesn't say much, but she looks rather round in the belly area. It must suck to be her.

"You can sit next to Allyson and Amy over there." Mr. Branson pointed the girl towards the empty seat between me and Amy.
The girl rushed over nervously and sat down. She opened her bag to grab her books, and they poured onto the floor beside me.
I looked down at her as she started picking her stuff up, and I reached down to help her. She didn't notice that I had her textbook in my hand, until she was back in her seat, running her fingers through her long brown hair, and rubbing her belly lightly. I leaned over and slid the book in front of her and she looked at me, obviously surprised.
"Uhh, thanks." She whispered, sounding nervous.
"Your welcome." I replied to her just as quiet. I knew that if Mr. Branson heard any talking he'd give us an automatic detention. "I'm Allyson by the way." I smiled at her.
"I'm Theosha. Uhh, Theo if you want."
"I'm Amy." Amy inputted, reaching her hand towards the girl who took it and responded with her name again. "So where are you from Theo?"
"Uhh, Canada. BC." She smiled for a minute, remembering her home.
"Sounds nice. Well, welcome to San Fransisco baby." Amy winked at Theo while smiling and let out a quiet giggle, pulling back into her chair.
I stared up at the clock, waiting for the class to end. Branson was talking about some novel we were going to be reading. The clocked ticked as minute after minute rolled by. After what seemed like forever, the bell rang.
"Don't forget to pick up your novel at the door."
As everyone stood up to leave I overheard Amy talking to Theo.
"So since you're new here, and the year's pretty much over, I think you should hangout with us for a little while. We'll show you around." The blonde nodded towards me as I walked over.
    "Yeah, sure."
    "Great." I smiled at her.
"Oh uhm, I moved here with my boyfriend, and I don't want to leave him alone or anything, so can he come along or something?"
"Uhh, maybe Josh and Michel can hang out with him?" Amy looked over at me questioningly.
"******** it, let's all just hang out somewhere."
"Where?" Theo asked looking at me.
"Let's go skating." Amy whipped out her phone and began texting everyone.
I started laughing. She's always the contact person. Knows everyone, plans everything. It's cute.

I felt a hand touch my a** and I looked up to see Michel riding his skateboard, passing us.
"You a*****e!" I shouted at him.
"You loved it!" He replies back, skidding to a stop and flipping his board up into his hands.
"Not that you'll ever know of!" Amy erupted with laughter beside me.
He began walking towards us , his smile widening as he looked me in the eye.
"So I kinda left Josh at home." He said, pulling his black hood over his head.
"You a**! I told you to bring him!" Amy jumped forward, pushing lightly at Michel, who stumbled back, but I knew she didn't push him that hard.
"He's your boyfriend, not mine." Mich crossed his arms over his chest, hiding the white Misfits logo on his sweater.
"So uhm, I'm stuck with you?" The tall guy at the end of our line-up finally spoke.
"Zane!" Theo tried to quiet him.
Michel cocked his hip to the side, imitating Amy's posture, and began speaking in what he called his "Tranny Voice". "Uhm, yeah, you gotta problem with that Bigfoot?"
    Everyone began laughing.
I think that's when I realized we'd all be best friends.
