• Silence. Pure, undisturbed, unearthly silence. A strange breeze drove me to this place. The forest known as "Eclipse". The dense undergrowth of the trees and the weeds spread out like the tentacles of a octopuse. They intertwined between the branches like monkey tails. And hung in the air like a natural chandeller. But in this live forest nothing, but silence. But though the silence was broken after the clear ching of a blade was heard. Two blades fighting for survival. Two people. I took to the intertwined trees and searched where the sound came from. The metallic scream of the metal. Then the sound of defeat. A male voice. Elder, but still not too old.
    Suddenly the blade I had heard came towards the branch I stopped on. Cutting it from beginning to end and almost hitting me. I fell from no balance. The midnight sky looked at me while I feel flat on my back in a overgrown brush.
    "You! Who are you?" a younger male voice asked. Coming to my senses I stood up and drew my sword. I turned to face him.
    "Again I ask who are you?!" the young man asked. His blue hair fell to his neck and was shaggy like. His red eyes pierced my heart like a silver sword. And his stance showed aggression.
    "Me? I am a assassin. Sent out here by my instinct and instinct alone. Who are you vampire?" I asked him in retaliation. Not trying to sound so vague and not scared.
    "My name? I am Avery the vampire of the air. What are you doing here?" I looked toward the man that was attacked. Blood. He was stained.
    "Im here by my instinct as I said. Your here by your feeding arent you?" He seemed surprised in a manner.
    "So what if I am?! And this guy almost killed me!"
    "I dont really care if you are feeding or not." He turned around and thought for a minute then he turned to face me. Our eyes locked. He seemed to have looked over me and laughed.
    "Whats so funny?" I asked him harshly.
    "I cant believe this." he replied.
    "Believe what?"
    "That a little girl is a assassin."
    "Little girl?!" I became furious and came toward him using my Crusnik powers.
    "Hey whats the big idea?!" He asked as I pinned him to the tree. The moonlight showed between us as both of our red eyes locked.
    "Im not a little girl if I can pin down a vampire like you got that?!"
    "Pin down? Sure" Just then he got me off him somehow. I stepped back and then he pinned me to the tree with my chest hitting the bark.
    "Hey let go of me!"
    "No only if you do one thing."
    "What do you want you vampire?!"
    "I want you to let me join you."
    "What?! Never!"
    "Do it or I will break your arm." He grabbed my arm and twisted it.
    "Ahhhh! Okay okay let off and I will." Just then I remembered what my leader had said. He said, 'Go forth and bring me back a vampire of the wind.' So it wasnt by instinct. It was by command that I had forgot, but then remembered.
    "Fine I will." He let go of me and then I turned around to face him. His eyes were back to normal. They showed kindness, caring, and a fighting spirit. Mine that I could feel was showing nothing, but the burning hate I had for my sister. And how he defeated me so easily.
    "So whats your name?" he asked with a simple and casual tone.
    "Im Rose just call me that." I replied.
    "Okay Rose. So are we like partners now?"
    "A partner you can trust your life with. If you trust me then to you we are, but I cant trust you. You have to earn my trust."
    "Okay then I trust you so your my partner, but your not mine I guess." Our eyes locked then. For some reason I was caught in a daze. Caught in a simple moment where I felt something I never felt before. I felt like I was something. I felt like I was in love, but then I realized love is nothing. So I looked away and began ahead through the dense weeds and growing saplings.
    "Rose wait up!" I heard him say. I stopped and he caught up to me. I looked away from him. He didnt seem to mind.
    "Look if your going to be my partner or whatever you need to know how to fight." I told him.
    "But I do see" he grabbed me from behind and made me hit the ground. While I feel on my back he got ontop of me and pinned me down.
    "Okay that was good, but do you know how to do this?" I kicked him off, then caught him in mid air, and did what he did to me.
    "Okay no I cant." He admited.
    "Well then you have to learn." I replied while getting off. Then I walked away.
    "Hey Rose wait up again!"
    "Hurry up Avery Im not slowing down."
    "Okay then master."
    "Im not your master."
    "Well ummm partner?" I stopped and then thought for a minute. I tried not to be so rude to people so I replied, "Sure why not?"
    "I gotta partner!" he said while smiling. I looked away and we both walked out of the dark forest. That day I realized something. I was falling in love.
