    Two draped figures stood in a dusty room, the room was flooded with beautiful jewlry and paintings The two stood before a life size mirror; anciet designs embroidering it's frame. A handsome youngman removed his hood a crown occupied his head.
    "Mother, are you sure this is for the best?"

    An older woman still graceful in her features removed her hood as well, a large crown settled perfectly on her head. " You are the last of the true phantom breeds in our family line, it is definate that you live." her voice held the seriousness of a queen, but the worried expression of a mother losing her child. His hand clentched into a tight fist " Why can i not stay here and kill uncle myself?"

    " You are strong but he has managed to kill you're father and this is no risk I will take, you will go to the human world."
    " I will not!" He argued, The prince was too proud to let his title be corrupted with that of a spineless mutt. The queen's face turned stern " Caiden you will go, i will make it known that you have been killed once the palace is set to fire tonight."

    Caiden was silent his voice then began in a low whisper " If I do leave, what will happen to you? Surely once he finds that I am dead will he come after you mother." The queens response was for once hesitant " I will burn along with the palace."
    " NO! I will not allow this!"
    " What purpose will I have to live? Without my beloved and son what life would I live? I would rather die and sooner join my love then allow him to torture me until death has finally taken me!"

    She removed his crown and gently kissed his forhead " My son this is my dearest wish, live." The boy returned the kiss and transformed into his fearsome true form. The dog's voice was a deep monotone " Very well mother, if that is what you wish."

    A small smile spread across her graceful features, she touched the mirror " Thank you my son." Caiden nodded and jumped into the mirror. Small water-like waves waves appeared when he was gone. The queen shattered the mirror right after " Yes live, and soon return to claim what is rightfully you'res."
