• Chapter one Introduction
    I looked up at the Sparkling sun, I was jealous of it. Life was so easy for the sun, just sitting there in the sky and warm the earth. No, i mustn't be sad, for i was going to see Mason. My best friend since i was 6 and he was 7. I had just started crushing on him this year. Its just, the way his eyes sparkle in the light. When he laughs his Dimples were shaped so perfect, too perfect as in a dream. Was it a dream? Maybe i'm sleeping, and we're still 6. I thought turning the corner. Or... or.......
    just then i saw him, walking.... Toward me. Oh how cute he looked, His Green converse, His tight red skinny jeans, his black ACDC Shirt. Then there was his face, the way his chin slightly jutted out of his face, then there was his full lips, the small curves of his nose. I saved his eyes last, worried i'd lose my train of thought. Blue/Black eyes, that seemed gleam in the sun.
    "Hey Alex!" He suddenly screamed to me.
    I started to walk in his direction."hey hows it-" I tried to say, unable to finnish my sentence, Because of a trash can. I had trashed myself.
    "Are you okay?" Mason asked me.
    "i'm fine!" I said as he pulled me out.
    He just laughed. "Since when did you become such a cluts?"
    "Hey its not funny!" I said laughing too. Not because of how pathitic i was, but because he was just so cute. I couldn't help myself.
    "well if your done delaying us," he said jokingly. "Then we should get going."
    "We shall," I promised. Could I hold up all that clutsyness when i was around him? Well I was just about to Find out!
    We walked all the way to the park.
    "Where are we going?" I asked.
    "Remeber when we were 10 we made a secret club house, but our parents said we couldn't ever come to the park cuase of the poisen ivy."He responded.
    "And we never saw it again, yeah of course i do...,"He started to pull me toward the woods, "But what does that hav- No you didn't"
    He turned at me and smiled,"I sure did."
    Then I looked.... and I saw it, it was beautiful, better than the time we made it at first.
    I clouldn't say anything, I climbed the ladder, the wood was new, I could tell. When I reached the top, I saw the faint blue paint still there saying "no girls alowed". I laughed, that was the time Mason thought girls had cooties. And when I went inside I saw my songs, the ones I attemped to write.But then I realized it wasn't gonna work out, and quit music all together. "Omg, where did you get these, I thought I locked them in the safe?!"
    "Well its not really safe when you tell your bestie the combo." Mason Chuckled.
    "Oh yeah, forgot," I laughed.Smooth I thought to myself.
    "So you like it?" Mason asked.
    "Like it? Of course i don't like it," I said."I love it Mas!" Mas was his nickname, so I didn't have to say mason. But he also went by, Mazz, and Maso.
    He laughed, I suddenly looked up at him. Lost in a gaze of wonder, how could this gorgous creature be friends with such a loser like me. The sun showed behind him, making him look like an angel, his slightly messy brown hair glissened.
    "Uh Alex" he said looking out the window suddenly.
    "mph what."
    "someone's here.... for you" Right then I knew, even without looking out the window. It was my mom. She didn't like Mason at all, just because he was a year older than me. She thought he was a bad influence, I don't know why.
    "Alexandra Marie Snead, get your butt down here this instant!!"she cried
    "ugh, bye Mas" I said about to hug him, he turned away.
    "See you here tommorrow, Alex"he said.
    I sighed, but I climbed down the ladder to my evil mother.
    "Mellissa you know how I feel about Masert-"
    "Mom its MASON" I corrected her.
    "Oh well , you know he's bad news, why do you always go agianst my ruling??"
    "I don't its just your always wrong about people. Like you think Andy arouses me to do bad things!"
    "Well she is! any girl who has a guy nick name is bad news!"
    "MOM! THAT IS SOO WRONG! YOU THINK SHE'S BAD, WELL THEN I AM TOO!"
    "what-"
    "Mom everyone calls me Alex, not Alexandra. I loathe that name mom!"
    "Well then.." she said, then the car was all quiet the rest of the way home.....
