Which it seemed forever for me go home and recover from the injuries I have taken from that assed Ritsuka. Also I hadn't seen Sky since we met each other again in the hospital. So far, I'm living my life very miserably. Evans had came in, checking on me twice a day but he won't even speak a word and that absolutely pissed me off.
Right now I was getting ready to go the school, today was Friday and it was December. I shrugged on my winter uniform and didn't even bother to look at my battle scars. That Ritsuka guy has totally destroyed my body and I look even more crappier than ever. Luna trotted into my room and hummed happily. I glowered at her, and said, "What is it, Luna?"
She only just giggled and pointed to the calendar that hung from my pale white wall. I arched an eyebrow at her and sighed. It could be about Christmas? Oy, like I'd have time for that. I probably would be too busy fighting while my family going out and having a sweet time. The increasing rate of demons and battles has been going up ever since I was in the hospital. Even one of my friends was picked to be experimented on and had to go out to battle the demons and such. What the hell was really going on? Is Ritsuka behind this? Or someone who is in charge of him is?
"Your face looks funny when you think too hard, teehee." Luna poked me in my stomach, I winced and growled at her which it made her run off. I stared at the crest that was laying on my dresser and sighed unevenly. I took it and slid it into my bag's side pocket. Everything was really getting stressful. What a joy.
As I went downstairs and my mom and dad was whispering to each other. At the moment they saw me, they stopped whispering, huh, weird I guess. Were they afraid that if the beans were spilled and I'd just take off or what?
"Hello Sakura. All ready for school?" My mom crooned at me, fixing my bangs and I nodded, shooing her hands away.
"Most certainly so." I muttered back to her and I took a glance outside as I reached out for a toast that was left on a plate off the kitchen table. It was snowing, of course it can look really pretty but it puts in me into a bad mood for some reason. Who wouldn't be when they see snow all of the time, eh?
"Ah, well are you taking the bus or are you walking?" My dad questioned me as he sat down at the table and grabbed his newspapers. He always read newspapers in the morning and would drone on about the bad news happening in this cursed world.
"I'm walking but don't worry about me though. I'll be just fine." I flexed my biceps, showing him how strong I could be even as a humanoid feline.
"Well, just be careful honey.." My mom told me and I took a bite of my toast. I nodded, headed outside, they waved goodbye to me and I waved back to them. The air was chilly and crisp. Actually that felt quite refreshing. I hadn't been outside for like ever. It was nice for instance.
I walked down on a pathway through a park, the naked trees were just standing there and the every snowflakes kept floating down gently. I was hoping for a battle with Ritsuka and then I might be able to find out why is he fighting me. Ah, who am I kidding? I strolled down until a screech came across to me, making me to bent over and cover my sensitive ears.
"Oh my, I didn't mean to ruin your perfect walk in this park." Right there, in front of me, Ritsuka laughed at me coldly. I smirked and stood up tall again, putting my hands on my amble hips. He stared at me as if I weren't paying attention or reacting at all.
"Oh, it's perfect right now." I purred, and popped my cat ears out. I flexed my arms and leg, allowing my tail come out. He frowned and drew out a sword through the thin air! Wow, is he a magician?
"Hm, strange. It seemed you would react or act stupidly." Ritsuka kept frowning and I shrugged.
"Well at least, I forgave you for stealing my first kiss which in meaning, I'll kick your butt, boy." I growled at him and summoned daggers out of nowhere. He stood into a fighting stance and I started to run towards him, swerving sideways to confuse him with my move.
"Hah, kick my butt? I doubt it." Ritsuka ran towards to me too and we clashed our weapon together, making a high clinging sound. I strained to keep up with his strength but I backed out. He was really strong, wow, how am I able to get him?
"So Ritsuka," I smirked again, holding up my daggers again, "Why do you want to fight with me every time we meet?" Ritsuka stared at me hardly ever and he heaved a sigh which a fog billowed out of his mouth.
"Maybe I like you but I am forced to fight you." He answered in a laughing voice as we clashed again, sparks flew by when the blades scraped each other and I glanced up to the tree besides me, grunting. I somersaulted backwards and jumped up into the tree and stared down at Ritsuka which who was running towards the tree, glancing up to me.
"Ha, like me. It seems like you hate me with a burning passion. Did I mention I love that kind of passion." I laughed at him and he jumped onto the branch higher than me. He slashed his sword at my head and I bent backwards, the sword almost touched me. Yikes, I should be more careful around this guy and I jumped back down to the ground.
"With a burning passion? You love it, ah well, that excites me." He responded back to me as he came down, knocking me to the ground. Oh, holy crap, he just got me off guard and he pinned my wrist onto the ground and his face was only a feet away from my. Oh, god, oh god, my heart beat faster and faster.
"Well, now how do you like this position? Good enough for you?" He questioned me and I closed my eyes, whimpering, trying not to be pulled into his dark eyes.
"Maybe." I just couldn't admit it, "Just maybe." I swore that something just brushed by my neck when I was closing my eyes and that sent chills down my spine.
"I'll let you out of this battle alive, I surrender this time. But next time I won't be easy on you." Ritsuka's lips went by my ear, whispering those words and then he disappeared. The pressure on my wrists were gone and I sat up, my heart beat unevenly. Did I really like him subconsciously? A enemy? What the heck was wrong with me?
----
Ritsuka returned back to his master and sighed bravely.
"I have failed this time, she got away." He murmured to the dark master and the master just roared with anger.
"You have failed me twice but next time will you be lucky?" He growled at Ritsuka and huffed as he settled back into his big throne.
"I may be a failure but I can get this done in some time." Ritsuka took off before his master could say anything and he was relieved when he was out of that dark cold place.
