Prologe to the Phantom of the
-
The city of paris is quiet and hushed by the cruel winds of the odd weather that is winter. A young girl properly dressed for the cold, but more carefully so, as if she spent hours deliberating but ended up throwing on the clothes but with total disregard for the maintenance that the lush furs deserved. She skipped along leaving small footprints in her wake followed by a middle-aged man and a equally aged women, who dear reader would be this girls mother and father.
The girl gailly walked into boutique, the kind of boutique that doesn't even lok at you unless you make an appointment for a fitting or you are extremely blessed in the monetary area. Luckily for this family, they happened to be both. THe wife pored over bolts of fabrics in hushed tones while the young girl ran across the whole store, only pausing to examine the brightest of all colors while the man did what husbands often do at these events, stand uncomfortably at the entrance. In the end a compromise is given for the sober hues and the eye burning neon. THe husbannd has his own contributin though, he payed for it. However while the purchases were being haggled the girl saw one item, a scarf. She had lost a scarf remarkably similar to the one that her fingers were running over currently, she lost alot of scarves by the sea. She hopefully held it up nad with a sigh the attendant placed the scarve on top of the pile of garments, while a new bargain was being made.
THe time came when the purchase was done and was wrapped and put into boxes, which were in turn put into bags. SLowly both of the adults picked up the new burdens while, as always the girl skipped out. It was a picturesque family, one that normal people only hope that they could somehow resemble them. One such person was hiding in an alley, his head obstructed by a large mop of unruly hair that concealed half of his face, he appeared two-three years the girls enior. It would seem that it was a normal person watching this family for the first time, but they were no stranger to the boy. He watched the girl intently, while letting the others melt into the background of his mind's eye. He knew her, someday she would meet him, and someday, even further he would meet her.
