As you walked through the main entrance; the grand staircase stood in all its glory before you.
Only the finest white/gray marble is used in its construction. Full length paintings hang upon the walls, Kings of old standing or sitting proudly, looking refined and powerfully relaxed. A half-naked fairy hunched in a corner, ready to cast her spell on those who walked the grand staircase.
A wooden banister allowed the refined people to walk gracefully upwards. As young Krystal did just now, and though she was not what one would call refined, she had a certain charm about her. even if she was just a servant girl,

Sounds interesting. Some grammarical errors tend to throw me off. For instance:
"As you walked through the main entrance the grand staircase stood in all its glory before you."
Needs to have a semi-colon after the word entrance.
Other than that I would really like to read more.^^ Good job.
