• After the challenge was sent to Naruto Uzamaki, Shiraku Hosetsu waited. it took 3 days for a response. Naruto accepted the challenge and said he was excited for the experience. the letter also said the math would take place on Saturday which was in two days. For the next 2 days Shiraku spent his time training for the forest of death, learning every nook and cranny making a mental map of his surroundings.
    Finally the day had arrived, Shiraku didn't go to meet Naruto before the match started, Naruto's aids told Shiraku to enter the forest now and Naruto would seek him out in an hour. Shiraku created a base 10 miles out in the forest, he stayed close to the gate because he didn't want to get caught while running. The base shiraku created was made out of live bushes leaves and trees, feeding off of their energy, Shiraku created a shield of chakra making him seem invisible. He also got rid of all of his clothes and rolled in the dirt and shrubbery so he couldn't be sniffed out by dogs.
    Shiraku had created a radar jutsu in which he sent out chakra and it would bounce back when it hit something, he used this so he could tell when Naruto was getting close. Naruto had assumed shiraku was going to go far so he went 30 miles into the woods completely in the opposite direction of where shiraku was. Shiraku didnt want Naruto to stray too far off so he sent off stronger waves of chakra to lure naruto about 5 miles away from him. Using the chakra technique he sent Naruto in circles for about 3 hours until naruto finally realized something was wrong. instead of following the chakra went he decided 2 follow where it came from. getting close Naruto was only about 30 feet away from shiraku but he couldn't tell.
    There was only 5 minutes left of the 24 hours and Shiraku didn't want to win by time. Naruto stepped up sensing something was strange and was sent flying into the air by a trip wire. As Naruto launched up into the air Shiraku came out of hiding laughing. But as Shiraku did this something blindsided him in the side of the head. He looked up and saw naruto was no longer in the trap but he was standing right over him.
    "how'd you...?" stuttered shiraku
    "how'd i get on top of you and out of the trap?" naruto said finishing shiraku's sentence "well you see i sent a clone after you i knew that if i couldn't see you that you must've had a trap and then once he got caught in it you stepped out all full of yourself"
    "OK" shiraku said "very clever naruto but since youve found me and i didn't trap you that means i have to fight you and get a bell off of you right?"
    "yep" naruto replied "now here is the bell" naruto said placing it on his belt "you get this from me and you pass... but know im not going to go easy on you. you said you wanted the best so im gonna give you the best..." as naruto was finishing his sentence shiraku launched himself up grabbing for the bell. As he reached for it naruto's hand came down and slapped shiraku hard. "hey i didn't even say start yet" grinned naruto "OK ready.......begin" and with that said the hunt for naruto and the bell was on.
