• I opened my eyes to find DeVonte, next to me asleep. The sun was out and shinning bright, I walked over to the window and looked outside, not a cloud in the sky. DeVonte stirred in his sleep, Dont let your dreams scare or disturbe you. I'm always here for you.I whispered into his ear, before she could kiss his check DeVonte took her in his arms. "I thought I lost you. There was... soo much blood, and it... it wouldn't stop." He said kissing my face, it wasnt till that moment that I relized that my life was more important then I thougt. "Sorry, I shouldn't of've gotten in the way, but I.... I didn't want you guys fighting." I told him kissing his face, I tried to fight back my tears but the spilled out.
    "Theres no reason to cry, you're safe now, and thats all that matters right now." DeVonte said kissing my hair, "Look why don't we visit your family they might be worried." He said pulling back so he could look at me, "Ok. They might be really worried." I said whipping away my tears, he smiled at me then leaned forward, and kissed my lips. I let out a tiny pip but it made me happy. "Alright then we leave to visit them tomorrow," He said kissing my lips again, I nodded. DeVonte started to get ready for our trip I just sat on the bed watching him. "Kate where's the tack for your horses?" He asked me, then I remebered that I left the night I met DeVonte. "Oh! I think I left them in the woods," I said grinning. He let out a laugh, "Bare back then?" He paused "Or we could use my saddles"
    We saddled up or horses then went off to my old house. It took only a day to get there, "This is your house?" DeVonte asked, I looked at my house then back at DeVonte "Yeah it is use to be." I said dismounting my horse, walking toward the field with my horse. DeVonte untacked both our horses, and let them roam the field. I opened the door, "Mother? Father? I'm back!" I called, the sound of feet running came from above us. "Katie! Katie is that you!?" I heard my mother call from the steps. I grabbed DeVonte's hand, and lead him toward the stairs. When my mom saw me, and DeVonte holding hands. "Katie is that the?!" My mother asked, "Hello Ma'am I'm DeVonte. And yes I'm the prince, and I wanted to take your daughter to live with me and my family. And hopefully soon to be my wife." He said pulling my closer to him. It made me blush, and my mother fight her tears back. "May I speak to your husband I need his aprovel, and I also need to thank him for the gift. He's hansome." Just as DeVonte finished my father walked in to the house.
    "When did Cassie and... Katie?! De... DeVonte?!" My father ran to me, and gave me a hug, then he bowed the DeVonte. "Sir I'm sorry. I should've cleaned before you entered." My father said patting down his hair. "No its ok. Thank you for the gift, and I wanted to ask you a question." DeVonte said to my father. DeVonte, and I both sat down in a chair, my father stood in front of us. "May I make your daughter my wife?" DeVonte ask, my father's jaw dropped. "Yes you may. Of course! Katie why didn't you tell us that the prince was going to marry you?!" My father asked me, I lifted my shoulders up the let them drop again. "I just found out right now." I said, then DeVonte got in front of me and got on one knee. "Katie will you marry me?" He asked me, I tried to fight my tears back. My dream was coming ture I would marry the vampire prince, and become his vampire princess. "Yes. Yes I will!" I said as he stood up, he slide a ring onto my left hand. I gave him a long kiss on the lips as a thank you.
    "Mother, Father I'll miss you make sure you can come up for the wedding. And it'll be in 3 weeks." I said closing the door. "3 weeks?" DeVonte questioned me, I nodded. We tacked our horses up then left to go to my new house. "DeVonte thank you, for making my dream come ture. I love you." I told him as we walked into his room. I sat down on the bed, and kicked my shoes off. DeVonte took me in his arms "I know you're now my Vampire Princess, from now and forever." He told me, then kissed me. The kiss was like nothing I had ever felt, his lips moved from my lips to my neck, from my neck to the base of it. All I could do was enjoy everything he was doing to me. Then I looked around his room, while he was kissing me. I saw the dress I would say "I Do" in. A white dress with light blue lacing. I lost my focuse when DeVonte was now on top of me whispering, "Do you like it? My mother let me use it just for this. If Brice was going to get married then it would be used for that as well."
    DeVonte managed to get me out of my shirt with out me feeling it. He was also out of his shirt, then he moved his lips from the base of my neck to the top of my chest. "DeVonte, why did Brice want me as his wife?" I thought.
    "If I have something he doesn't have then he takes it from me, but I stopped him before that happen" He told me in my mind. It made sense now to me. Then DeVonte put us under the covers, and then the kissing became faster. He ripped the rest of mine, and his clothes off. I knew what he was going for so I let him.
