• It's dark... Very dark... In fact it's pitch black... Where am I? I don't know... I'm scared, yet somehow... very relaxed. A sudden bright light shines in my eyes. I begin to twitch in my eyelids. I hear voices... rather deep voices at that.
    The voice is saying what sounds like: "Wake up dude! C'mon! Gonna get up or are you dead? D - E - D, Dead!"
    Dude... That must be my name!
    Somehow this voice sounds familiar... Better yet, I somehow understand the language and even the slang that was just used.
    I start to open my eyes. The first thing I see is a clear, blue, cloudless sky. I then sit up but as soon as I get up a sudden sharp pain surges into my brain. I'm just glad it wasn't real. As I feel the pain my head falls straight back to the ground.
    -THWACK-
    I close my eyes.
    I somehow don't feel the pain from my head impacted the ground, or even from when I first felt pain 0.382 seconds ago in my brain.
    The voice is talking to me again.
    But this time it has changed... into a rather soft, soothing one.
    It says: "C'mon, up! Sit up or we can't help you!"
    I sit up and open my eyes again.
    I don't feel pain.
    I see two people. One, a woman, and the other, a man.
    I'm in their back yard.
    They don't seem to be bothered at the fact that I am not in a place to which I know I belong.
