- Your subject is out of focus. The camera is focusing on the table in the background. If you previously switched from a manual focus to a digital it can be a little hard to adjust to. Most digitals focus when you press the capture button half down and will select the object in the center and focus in on it. If you don't want your subject center just focus on it then while holding the button half down move it to the desired framing. Play around with your camera and learn how it focuses.
