- You're doing great, just be sure to study anatomy, the way people are put together, and then study the way light and shadow work together to give us the sense of 'depth' (single quotes show emphasis f.y.i.). keep up the good work, once you understand the way these things work, it takes lots and lots of practice to put it on paper. Don't get discouraged even if it's just a hobby (as it is for me), It's a hobby worth having and getting better at. Remember to study with your practice!
