This is a drawing I was inspired to do after watching "The Little Mermaid; Ariel's Beginning." Yea, okay XD I'm 18 and watch disney movies, so sue me.
Ariel has always been my favorite princess, and after watching the movie I wanted to draw Mermaids, but I wanted her to be different from the usual ones...so I took 5 hours scooping through Deviantart at mermaids and well, she's definately a unique mermaid :3

- i love the detail!!! so beautiful.but i must constructively criticise.( im 14 and i still watch disney movies on a regular basis, so dont worry) anyhoo, the hand is a little too big, and i think tha arm is too long,and the dark hair next to the wingy-like fin near her head is confusing.it makes for strange sahding.i love this piece though, and i think you have just inspired me to draw a mermaid as well!!
